Can anyone explain what does this mean?

 

I have washed many epic items before and after the update. I have not noticed any differences.

Rare and epic items always had 3 or 4 different attributes. Now it's also possible that they just have 1 or 2 attributes (e.g. only stamina)

That's strange! Long before the update, I had acquired several epic items with just 2 different attributes. Others I washed until they had only the two attributes I wanted. I still have some of these epic items.
