Welcome ladies and gentlemen to an Easter special interview, with our Easter guest... RelaxMan!

                                             happy-easter-greetings-cute-bunnies-eggs

Hello RelaxMan, how are you doing in this wonderful spring day? Fantastic I hope!

I am well, EzrealStorm. Thanks for contacting me. I am ready for winter to be over!

So, RelaxMan, why did you choose to name yourself RelaxMan? Does it mean something specific to you?

I have played several different FaceBook team games. Sometimes the Team Leaders and senior players were too confrontational and demanding, and this greatly diminished my enjoyment of the games. My name is a reminder that players should relax and have fun.

How long have you been playing this game for?

I started playing HeroZero in July, 2013, so about 4 years and 9 months.

Who firstly introduced you to this game?

I was a longtime player of Superhero City. When it was shut down, I searched Facebook for another superhero themed game and found HeroZero.

What do you like most about this game? Is there something specific?

I appreciate the developers always adding new features, for example the Hideout, to keep the game fresh and interesting.

What servers do you play in?

I play on the UK1 server. It was the default server when I joined the game.

What’s your favorite sidekick and why?

I like the Halloween themed sidekicks and especially the skeleton (I do not remember its name) since it looks cool.

What’s your favorite item in the game?

If you mean equipment, I do not have a favorite item. I like whatever item increases my skills to the highest degree at the time.

So, people like getting experience from missions and leveling up but some others like coins from missions more than experience. What is your opinion on that? Any tips for people on this subject?

Going back to what I said earlier, I think players should have fun and play the way that helps them enjoy the game. That said, I personally tend do missions that pay the most coins so I can increase my skill points.

What do you think is the most important thing in the game that helps you get stronger?

I try to use all my training units every day in addition to acquiring coins to buy skill points.

How many levels do you get a week by doing experience missions?

Leveling up becomes increasingly time consuming at the higher levels. I usually level up about once every 5 to 6 days, depending on how much I play.

What are your opinions about the “new“ Hero Con and the Hero Hideout?

I really enjoy the Hero Hideout, and I thank the developers for their creativity! I generally like the HeroCon challenges, except for the special missions in unlimited/endless mode.

What’s the best rank you’ve gotten on the experience tournament?

If I finish in the Top 10 in the experience tournament, I am having a great week, but I usually do not finish in the Top 10 since I focus on coin missions. My best finish was probably not even in the Top 5.

What’s one of your biggest achievements in this game?

I think my Hideout is looking very good. Also, I just achieved Level 400 and have trained over 35,000 times. My best achievement is being part of the Number 1 Team on UK1—shout out to Fliplife Avengers! Thanks to PinkyCat, Sabilli, and all of the other members for being such fun and enthusiastic teammates!

Which skill is most important to you and why?

I like to balance my skills, so I think they are all important. I realize that sometimes it benefits players to have higher levels in some skills and lower levels in other skills, but that is not how I play.

Do you have any specific tips for new heroes?

I think it is important to have fun doing whatever you like to do, whether for work or play.

Hero Zero creates a lot of friendships. Who are some of your friends that you’ve made while playing this game?

I can honestly say that I have not formed close relationships playing HeroZero because I do not type a lot in the Team chat or send many messages. I do admire and like the players with Fliplife Avengers. They are very supportive and genuinely care about each other.

Now of course with friends there will always be opponents in this game. Are there any opponents you respect the most and why?

I appreciate the players who have been around for a long time and continue to work hard to develop their characters and advance their teams. Bravephart and CABLEGUY are 2 of the players who come to mind. They continue to perform at a high level even after many years of playing the game. They routinely whip my butt in duels, too.

You’re part of 1 super strong team. Fliplife Avengers on UK1. What is something you like about that team?

In addition to what I’ve already mentioned, SabLilli and others offer great tips, and they are always willing to answer questions. Several players also give advanced notice of game news since they are on other servers and forums.

Now let’s talk a little bit about your real life if you wouldn’t mind. What do you like to do in your free time? Do you have any hobbies? Any pets?

I am employed as a civil engineer (building roads and bridges), but I also have a graduate degree in clinical mental health counseling, and I like to volunteer with hospitals, homeless shelters, and agencies that work with young people. I also like to watch old movies in my free time, while I am playing HeroZero of course!

I have an orange tabby cat, McFly. He was a homeless kitten in my neighborhood, and his litter mates died from exposure to cold, starvation, or attack by predators. When I adopted McFly 5 years ago, I could easily hold him in the palm of one hand. Now he weighs about 6.5 kilograms. He has been a good friend.

And... Lastly... What's your favourite colour?

It is the color of the Villains’ faces when they are soundly defeated by the combined heroic forces of HeroZero!

Thank you very much for taking time off your busy schedule to do this interview with me RelaxMan and have a wonderful Easter full of joy and hapiness.

Thanks again for being a great teammate, Ezreal, and continued success to you!
