Surprise boxes are meant to be things that will contain a random, epic item. Some boxes though, have a specific set from which they will give you a random item. In my case, it was the Antimagnetic Microfiber set. The reason I am posting this is because frankly, as a 'Play to Win' player, spending 10 hard-earned Donuts to get the same piece of the set that you already have with only 7 bonus points seems a little BS. I doubt I'm the only one who has encountered this annoyance and I know it seems a little petty, but I find this extremely annoying. Perhaps an option so that you only get items that you don't have from Surprise boxes would be much appreciated.

I have a slightly different issue with the Surprise Boxes. As much as I have already gotten used to literally never seeing items that increase skills by even one point (they are usually at -50 up to around -150, sometimes even less) in the second hand shop, it drives me mad when I spend 10 donuts only to find an item with similar statistics... As Captainskylink mentioned above these donuts are hard to come by and take some time to earn, and I believe it is highly unfair and disappointing to waste them like that. I never open Surprise Boxes now because of this very reason. It takes the fun away from the excitement a Surprise Box is meant to bring - instead of wondering what new item I will get, I pray I get anything at all as long as it adds even just a few extra skill points. I think these boxes should come with a warranty the item you get increases your skills - items that lower your skills by 100 points end up costing 10 donuts, and sell at a few coins because they are literally not worth much at all...

here in lies the problem, if they guaranteed every time you open a surprise box that you got a + item then that makes the game even more pay to win , in the sense that if you spend enough donuts refreshing the store often enough just continuely opening surprise boxes and getitng + items every time then you could easily take yourself from 10k skills to 20k skills in a matter of minutes/ hours , and trust me there are enough players in the game who would spend that kind of money .

Truth of the matter is people who have enough donuts to spend (regardless of whether they are earned or purchased) are already refreshing the second hand shop in order to find the plus value items, so to these players it really makes no difference if the Surprise Box item is always a + one - they are already getting plenty of these items by refreshing the store as often as they like. Furthermore to these guys, as you have pointed out yourself, spending 10 donuts is nothing - they have plenty, and to waste a few donuts because the item in the Box is a negative one doesn't hurt them that much. On the contrary - what is in these boxes makes a HUGE difference to players like myself, who save their donuts and spend them carefully, because we do not have 10 donuts lying around to just waste on a negative item we then sell for pennies. The very reason I am writing this is because the game is already unbalanced - same as any other game of this type. People who spend cash will always be at an advantage and small changes like readjusting the content of the Surprise Boxes does not affect them as much. The only people who would really benefit from such readjustment are those who do not have the luxury of refreshing the second hand shop 10 times a day and rarely find a plus value item to begin with. Having a warranty the Surprise Box contains a + item means we could get them more often.
