My name is Skywalker and I will be the journalist for today.
Welcome to the Garage Interviews, here we will meet some of the most unexpected Heroes in our country.
Today we will have the pleasure to talk with Kylie.
• Hi, how are you? Can you give us your username and the servers where you are playing?
Hi Skywalker! I'm very well, thank you. My username is Kylie and I currently only play on the UK2 server.
I did have a hero on UK1 but I no longer play her.
• Do you want to talk a little bit about yourself, about the life when you are not working as a hero?
I'm originally from England but am currently living in Cyprus. It's lovely sunny weather here! I work as a private English tutor, and am lucky that I can work from home and spend a lot of time on Hero Zero!
• When did you start to play Hero Zero?
I originally started playing Hero Zero in October 2013 on the UK1 server.
I have been playing on UK2 since the 28th December 2013.
• How did you start player Hero Zero? Through friends? Publicity?
I was looking for a fun RPG game to play and found the game through searching popular RPG games on FB.
• Do you still remind the first days as a “noob” in Hero Zero?
Haha yes! I didn't realize at first that you could move the 'Work' slider to more than one hour! I used to only do work for one hour at a time. I felt like an idiot when I realized you could work the whole time you are offline!
• What do you like the most in the game?
The first thing that attracted me to the game was the wonderful sense of humour. I loved reading the funny descriptions of missions and the colorful characters. I am still addicted and enjoy playing because it's great to see your hero progress and become stronger. There are so many heroic deeds to do, tournaments to participate in, and lots of new equipment to strive for. I also like the fact that I can play while I do other things, and it doesn't need my undivided attention. I have also met some truly awesome people in the game and am proud of being an advisor in 'The Rivals'. It motivates me to work hard to see our team progress!
• Do you have particular goals to achieve in the game?
Well, my main goal is to see my team reach #1 in the team rankings someday! We're trying hard at the moment to find dedicated, loyal members. Some players on UK2 tend to 'team jump' frequently, so it can be tough trying to find 30 reliable players. My personal goals at the moment are to reach lvl 300, get a full suit of Amphibian armor, and get all of my stats to 5000. I would say my goal is to finish all of the heroic deeds, but that would probably take forever!
• In your opinion, what was your greatest achievement in HZ so far?
My greatest achievement so far has been coming 2nd place in a weekly honor tournament - I still haven't been able to get 1st! I'm also very proud to have been made an advisor in my team. It means a lot to me as my team has some wonderful people in it.
• Hero Zero creates friendships. Have you created any kind of friendship with another player? Who and how?
May (UK2) is probably my best HZ friend and we became friends over the past few months. It's nice being able to log in and chat as we are both HZ addicts and are online a lot! I also have friends that are in other teams that I chat to via mails. It's sad when people quit the game and you lose touch.
• Who's your favorite Hero? Why? (e.g. Batman, Super-Man)
Wonder Woman - because of the cool outfit. We need more female superheroes!
• Which are your tips for beginners?
Keep a low-level inexpensive item so you can do the sewing machine heroic deeds cheaply later in the game. Look for higher level players to duel in the player rankings that you can defeat, so you can make more coins. Duels are a great way of making money. Always set your hero to 'work' while you're offline so you make money. Be nice and treat others with respect. A bad reputation can stick!
• Describe HZ in 3 words.
Addictive, fun and challenging.
Thanks a lot for you time, i hope you keep enjoying the game. Best wishes from all the team!
