- Hi there! Could you tell us your name and when you started playing Hero Zero, and on what server(s)?
That's easy! My name is Allenios, and I started almost a year ago, on the 5th of July 2013 - on UK1.
- How did you start playing Hero Zero? Advertisements, maybe because of a friends recommendation?
I actually saw it in a TV advertisement in Greece. But I didn't follow the link that they gave, I just searched for the name of the game and registered. So I ended up in UK1 server instead.
- Do you remember the day you start playing Hero Zero?
A bit..! I remember my screen was totally empty, I only had a couple of buttons to click. My first reaction was "oh it's one of these games you have to wait for 10 minutes to complete a mission? I will go make some coffee.."
- What do you like the most in the game, and what do you like the least?
Definitely the team aspect of the game. I don't stick around long in online games, if I play alone. What I don't like is that these type of games generally become boring after some time. But the updates of the game don't seem to address this issue and it feels, at least in our server that the game is slowly losing people.
- What is the most successful thing you have in Hero Zero?
Our teams (Freaks) #1 ranking of course! We started as "minions" left by some high level guys and we managed to take our team Freaks to the top! It took a lot of effort to manage that.
- Do you want to achieve something specifically in your career as a hero?
Well I try to be the best in the games that I play. My next goal is to hit 200,000 honor both with the team and individually. After that I don't know

- You are one of the top players of Hero Zero, Server UK1. What is the secret of your success?
There is no secret actually. Activity is the main thing that makes you better. Do your training, do your missions and you will always improve equally or more than the rest.
- How does it feel to be an advisor, in other words in the leadership, of the #1 ranked team on the entire server?
I feel like I have played my part in the success of the team. It might look easy to run a team, but you have to deal with people, so sometimes it becomes a bit tricky. So far I believe as advisors we have helped Dreadnaught (our leader) to keep the balance, and keep making Freaks better every day!
- Is there any special moment in your career as a hero you would like to share with us?
We were barely in the top 10 when I joined the team and some of our high level members left. I wasn't really sure if this is going to work, but I thought I should give it a try. 8 months later, we were ranked first and we have managed to keep that position for 3 months now!
- Have there been any moments when you thought of quitting the game? What made you go on?
There were and there still are moments when I think I should stop playing. Unfortunately games are something you do on the side with real life. And real life changes so you don't always have the same free time to do things like gaming. As with every game that I have played so far, this is not exception, I won't play it forever. I am just trying to enjoy it and achieve the most I can while I do it though.
- What is the most strange, funny or in your opinion the best name you have named a pet? You may also tell us if you think somebody else has named their pet in some funny and good way.
I don't have a specific one actually. I usually name my pets after famous pets. For example if it is a cat, I name it after a famous (from a movie or something) cat. I named my lizard "Godzilla" for example

Now I have a dog called Alpha (I didn't change its name, because it appears first in the list as they are sorted alphabetically). I only raise pets with "Head Butt" and "Two are better than one". The second ability doesn't really concern me. But first and last one should be these. It is really effective and sometimes funny to hit people 3 times in a row!
- Have you convinced someone IRL to start playing Hero Zero? If so, then who? (friend, grandmother or neighbor perhaps..?)
I have convinced a friend of mine to start playing. But he accidentally started on US1 server, so we don't play together. :/
- In Hero Zero, friendships are very important. You probably have a lot of friends in the game. Who are your closest friends and how did you meet them?
My closest friends are our leader Kai and the advisors of the team (Eli, Nathan, Tom, Desmond, Leftis - in order of joining the team). We have played this game together for so long, which is one of the major reasons that made me stick around. Thanks guys for the experience and making all this time worthwhile!
- Is there any player you look up to, that you admire? And if so, who is it and why?
Not any particular one. I admire the players that play to be the best. Kalione is one example, he is active after all this time and no-one can get close to him skill-wise.
- Which of your opponents do you respect the most, and who, in your opinion, is the best player on this particular server?
SiaFurler is the best opponent. I only managed to beat her once so far (pure luck), but we still have a big gap in skills. Will take some time to reach her, if I ever manage it.
- A lot of suggestions have been made by the players in order to make the game better. As an experienced player, your opinion is especially important to us. So if you could only pick one, which of the suggestions that have been made would you choose to be implemented to the game?
One thing that I miss from the game is playing around with the outfits. There are some really nice designs out there (and the ones from special events). Now with the set items you can't really do that and also keep your skills to the top.
Also make the game a bit more interesting for higher level players. I rarely change my items, sidekicks and looks nowadays. Oh - and fix this bug that a player gets a booster and if he doesn't log in he keeps it forever.
- Do you use the Forum? If not, is there any particular reason for that?
Not really. I have posted a couple of times. But it is not that active to keep a conversation going there and there is not much information you can get apart from the release notes of new updates. Would be nice to have an in-game general chat or something, it sure would spice things up a bit!
- What is your advice to newbies?
If you decide to play and stick around, be active and you will succeed soon enough. Also, skills are more important than levels! :-) Keep that in mind when choosing missions. And last but not least, find yourself a team where you have a nice time. Playing alone is boring!
